We arrived Friday evening and were booked in straight away, we (my adult son and i) went into the restaurant to order food, I ordered a mixed mushroom and truffle pasta dish it was sublime and a good sized portion, my son ordered Salmon which when it arrived was raw in the middle straight away the waitress was very apologetic of which my son replied " it happens" she came back straight away and said what other food would you like to order and it will be on the house, which was great !! The rooms great shower, comfy beds great blackout curtains nice clean linen, hair dryer, kettle tea and coffee facilities, a fan 😁 iron and ironing board. All the staff very very pleasant and attentive could not fault any of them at all.

We have stayed here previously when I was attending a Rememberance Parade in Hull, and all was good. This time I was attending Hull Hospital for day surgery, needed to be there for 07:30 and we live 70+miles away. Hence an obvious choice to stay again. Sadly the NHS pulled the plug on my operation after we had already booked in the night before. Whilst the NHS were far from sympathetic to the stress/distress they had caused, the hotel manager was much more understanding and allowed us to cancel our second night in order to go back home. We had a very plesant evening / overnight stay, and needless to say, I will re book when my operation finally takes place.

The room was spotless, extremely comfy bed, lovely bed linen and towels, we just had a continental breakfast of which there was a great choice, tea and coffee station easy to use. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Would like to mention one lady who went above and beyond, that is Linda, head of housekeeping. She chatted with us, showed us a couple of rooms, nothing was too much trouble.

Staff were great Gary on the front desk and Linda the Head Housekeeper were super helpful & friendly in getting our room prepped early and gave great examples of places we could take our 5 year old son. The pool was great and unlike most places allowed children to use it whenever rather than only a couple of hours. The breakfast was brilliant, self service with hot and cold options.

Ryan

nice room good space and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and had a lot of variety loved the option of a smoothie. Staff were helpful when i needed a taxi and allowed me to drop bags off before properly cheaking in
